URBISTICS MONTREAL 2005
New Trends in the integrated urban development
May 23 - 26, 2005,
Hilton Bonaventure Hotel
Montreal, Quebec, Canada
The Urbistics approach seeks to optimize the
management of the urban networks by means of information technologies. The
international congress of Urbistics will
bring together decision makers of the public, private and academic sectors:
elected officials, managers, engineers, town planners, architects and
researchers
in order to present innovating solutions concerning the conception, optimization
and implementation of urban projects.
URBISTICS MONTREAL 2005 has three components:
A Forum primarily oriented towards discussion surrounding the experience of municipalities and practical examples of the successful implementation of innovative solutions in the domain, continuing the efforts of previous forums organized by the CREM the Resource Center in Urbistics (Centre de Compétences en Urbistique).
A Conference to highlight achievements in applied scientific research and the search for optimal solutions to urban problems;
An Exhibition to offer a technological showcase for enterprises and organizations wishing to promote their expertise and know-how.
