It is with great pleasure that we announce the 3rd International Symposium on Advanced Biomaterials / Biomechanics (ISAB² - 2005) to be held in Montreal (Canada) from April 3 to April 6, 2005 presented by École Polytechnique de Montréal (EPM) and École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS).

ISAB² - 2005 will provide an outstanding opportunity for scientists, biomaterials and biomechanics researchers, bio-engineers and clinicians, from the academy as well as from the industry, to present their work and innovative products, communicate their knowledge and discuss the more recent developments and innovations in the field of advanced biomaterials.

Selected topics will include new medical device development, nanotubes, microencapsulation, composites biomaterials, shape memory implants, sterilization, bioceramics, medical imaging, biomechanics modeling, knee kinematics, and more (see the topics).

We expect that this symposium will gather numerous experts and scientists from a wide variety of institutions. So we invite you to provide your interesting contributions.

English is the working language of the Symposium; no translation will be provided. All materials for publication must be submitted in English.
